Begum Jahanara Shah Nawaz (1896-1979)
On 50years of independence, Government of Pakistan issued this special postal stamp in recognition of contributions by Begum Shahnawaz in Pakistan movement. Founding All India Muslim League (Women) and motivating muslim women for freedom were among her major contributions.
